Itinerary

  • Pick up from Launceston CBD at 09:00;

  • Drop off in Launceston CBD at around17:00;

  • Tour Duration approximately 8 hours;

  1. Launceston:- Take a tour around Tasmania's second largest city and learn about the early history and view the stunning architecture and open green spaces;

  2. Cataract Gorge:- is a river gorge in Launceston and approximately 1.5 km from the city centre and where the South Esk River flows into the Tamar estuary. It is one of the region's premier tourist attractions and accessible to all ages.

  3. Grindelwald:- Explore the village square and learn about the Dutch man's dream of creating a Swiss-style village;

  4. Brady's Lookout:-  Stroll up the small hill for the best view over the Tamar River and across to St Mathias Church at Windemere;

  5. Beaconsfield:- Drive by the Gold Mine that was established in the 1870s and the site of the underground rescue in 2006;

  6. Beauty Point:-  Visit Sea Horse World and Platypus House and learning all about the growth and development of the animals and their habitats;

  7. Lunch:-  En route 2 courses at a venue to be decided on the day.
